BIO: Raymond Lee (Jr.) Walls was born in 1933 in San Diego, CA and died in 1993 in Los Angeles, CA. He played major league baseball from 1952 to 1964 as outfielder for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Chicago Cubs, Cincinnati Reds, Philadelphia Phillies and the Los Angeles Dodgers, and was selected in 1958 as an All-Star. During the 1955-56 off-season he worked as the maitre-d' in a restaurant in Palm Springs, CA. After his playing career ended, Walls was a coach for the Oakland Athletics and New York Yankees.
