If you have any questions about a particular piece, please ask before the auction ends. BIO: Norman Burt Sherry was born in 1931 in New York, NY and died in 2021 in San Juan Capistrano, CA. He played major league baseball from 1959 to 1963 as catcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers and the New York Mets. He was a catcher in the major leagues from 1959-63, and managed the California Angels from 1976-77. He also was a coach for the Angels for three years. From 1965 through 1976, when he wasn't at the major league level as a manager or coach, he was doing the same at the minor league level for the Angels or Dodgers. After that, he was a coach with the Montreal Expos. Sherry was also a New York Yankees scout in 1968. He is the brother of Larry Sherry. SKU: LSP01214
