BIO: Von Francis Hayes was born in 1958 in Stockton, CA and went to college at Saint Mary's College of California. He played major league baseball from 1981 to 1992 as outfielder and 1st baseman for the Cleveland Indians, Philadelphia Phillies and the California Angels, appeared in the 1983 World Series, and was selected in 1989 as an All-Star.
