BIO: John Constantine Unitas (The Golden Arm) was born in 1933 and died in 2002. He went to college at the University of Louisville. Unitas was a quarterback in the NFL from 1956 to 1972 with the Baltimore Colts and in 1973 with the San Diego Chargers. He was a 10-time Pro Bowler and 5-time First-Team All-Pro and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1979. His record of throwing a touchdown pass in 47 consecutive games (between 1956–1960) remains unsurpassed as of 2011, and he has been consistently listed as one of the greatest NFL players of all time.
