BIO: Alvin Joseph Jurisich was born in 1921 in New Orleans, LA and died in 1981 in New Orleans, LA. He played major league baseball from 1944 to 1947 as pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals and the Philadelphia Phillies, and appeared in the 1944 World Series.
