BIO: Darrah Dean Stone was born in 1930 in Moline, IL and died in 2018 in East Moline, IL. He played major league baseball from 1953 to 1963 as pitcher for the Washington Senators, Boston Red Sox, St. Louis Cardinals, Houston Astros, Chicago Whtie Sox and the Baltimore Orioles, and was selected in 1954 as an All-Star. Stone also pitched for a time in Japan before retiring to his hometown of Moline, Illinois, where he had a landscaping business.
