BIO: Delbert Bernard Unser was born in 1944 in Decatur, IL and went to college at Mississippi State University. He played major league baseball from 1968 to 1982 as outfielder and 1st baseman for the Washington Senators, Cleveland Indians, Philadelphia Phillies, New York Mets and the Montreal Expos, and appeared in the 1980 World Series. He is the son of Al Unser, and brother of Lawrence Unser, minor league outfielder in the Cleveland Indians chain 1972-1973. Unser was a coach for Philadelphia Phillies 1985-1988.
