BIO: Gary Steven Roenicke was born in 1954 in Covina, CA. He played major league baseball from 1976 to 1988 as outfielder for the Montreal Expos, Baltimore Orioles, New York Yankees and the Atlanta Braves, and appeared in the 1979 and 1983 World Series. Following his playing career, Roenicke became a scout. His son, pitcher Josh Roenicke, was selected by the Cincinnati Reds in the 2006 amateur draft. Another son, Jason Roenicke, was drafted in both 2007 and 2008. A third son, Jarett Roenicke, played professionally from 2000 to 2003.
