BIO: Jack Dean Collum was born in 1927 in Victor, IA and died in 2009 in Grinnell, IA. He played major league baseball from 1951 to 1962 as pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Reds, Chicago Cubs, Brooklyn Dodgers, Los Angeles Dodgers, Minnesota Twins and the Cleveland Indians. After baseball Collum became the owner of the Pioneer Oil Company in Grinnell, IA.
