BIO: Mark Bruce Salas was born in 1961 in Montebello, CA. He played major league baseball from 1984 to 1991 as catcher and pinch hitter for the St. Louis Cardinals, Minnesota Twins, New York Yankees, Chicago White Sox, Cleveland Indians and the Detroit Tigers. In 2007, Mark Salas began his second stint as Chicago White Sox bullpen catcher, a position he previously held from 1996 to 1999. In between, he spent two years as a White Sox scout.
