Please see scans of the actual card for further details including condition. BIO: Max George Carey (Scoops) was born in Terre Haute, IN and died in 1976 in Miami, FL. He played major league baseball from 1910 to 1929 as outfielder for the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Brooklyn Robins, appeared in the 1925 World Series, and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1961.
