BIO: Michael Joseph Piazza was born in 1968 in Norristown, PA. He played major league baseball from 1992 to 2007 as catcher and designated hitter for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Florida Marlins, New York Mets, San Diego Padres and the Oakland Athletics, appeared in the 2000 World Series, and was selected 12 times as an All-Star. Piazza was the 1993 National League Rookie of the Year, and earned a total of 10 Silver Slugger Awards over the course of his career. On January 29, 2005, at an evening wedding at St Jude's Catholic Church in Miami with 120 guests that included former Mets pitcher Al Leiter and Detroit Tigers catcher Ivan Rodriguez, Piazza married his girlfriend of two years, Alicia Rickter, a Playboy model formerly of the TV show Baywatch. As a sideline, he operates the Mike Piazza Honda dealership in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. He has appeared in Baywatch, Married with Children, and the 2002 movie, "Two Weeks Notice."
