BIO: Miltiades Sergios Pappas (Gimpy) (born with last name Pappastediodis) was born in 1939 in Detroit, MI and died in 2016 in Beecher, IL. He played major league baseball from 1957 to 1973 as pitcher for the Baltimore Orioles, Cincinnati Reds, Atlanta Braves and the Chicago Cubs, and was selected in 1962 and 1965 as an All-Star. His brother Perry Pappas pitched in the New York Yankees organization.
