See scans for conition and signature quality. BIO: Ralph Kress was born in Columbia, CA and died in 1962 in Los Angeles, CA. He played major league baseball from 1927 to 1946 as infielder for the St. Louis Browns, Chicago White Sox, Washington Senators, Detroit Tigers and the New York Giants. In 1947, Kress started his coaching career with the Giants. He coached with the Indians for eight seasons (1953-60), then the Angels in their maiden AL season (1961), and also managed several minor league clubs, including the St. Paul Saints and Sacramento Solons. Kress came to New York again, this time to coach for the hapless 1962 Mets under Casey Stengel. Frank Anthony Pytlak was born in 1908 in Buffalo, NY and died in 1977 in Buffalo, NY. He played major league baseball from 1932 to 1946 as catcher for the Cleveland Indians and the Boston Red Sox. He later coached high school baseball and worked in a sporting goods store. SKU: CL02546
