BIO: Emerson Corey Roser was born in 1918 in Rome, NY and died in 2002 in Utica, NY. He went to college at Clarkson University. He played major league baseball from 1944 to 1946 as pitcher for the New York Yankees and the Boston Braves. After baseball, he ran a sporting goods business and then a restaurant.
